Steps for Posting on Instagram:
Before posting, make sure you’re on the correct Instagram profile for your program. To switch profiles, tap your profile icon at the bottom right, then tap the profile name at the top of the screen and select the correct account from the dropdown list.
1. Open the Instagram app on your Android device.
2. Tap the plus sign (+) at the bottom center of the screen and choose whether to create a Post, Story, Reel, or Live.
3. Select photos or videos from your gallery or take new ones directly through Instagram.
4. Add captions, hashtags, and tag relevant accounts. Ensure your post aligns with the Archway mission.
5. Verify permissions: Make sure you have student and staff consent before posting any images or content.
6. Review your post and tap Share. After posting, review the post again to ensure all tags, permissions, and details are accurate.
Engagement and Responses:
It’s important to actively monitor comments and direct messages on your Instagram posts. Responding promptly to questions, compliments, or concerns shows that your program is attentive and values its community. Encouraging interaction is a great way to boost engagement—consider including a call to action in your post, such as asking followers to share their thoughts, tag a friend, or participate in a discussion. This can help create a sense of community and strengthen relationships with your audience. Remember, timely and thoughtful responses contribute to a positive online presence for Archway Programs.
Encourage Interaction:
One of the best ways to boost engagement on Instagram is by encouraging interaction. You can do this by adding a call to action (CTA) in your posts, such as asking followers to like, comment, or share their thoughts. Prompts like “What’s your favorite memory from this program?” or “Tag a friend who would love this event” can inspire followers to engage. This not only increases visibility but also helps build a stronger connection with your audience, driving more interaction on your posts and creating a vibrant, engaged online community.
Online Posting Tips for Safety:
•Privacy matters: Avoid sharing any sensitive personal information or tagging students directly.
•Use professional language and tone that reflects the values of Archway.
•Be mindful of location data: Turn off location sharing unless it’s necessary for the post.
•If in doubt, reach out to the program director or supervisor to confirm consent or get approval before posting.
How Our Programs Make a Difference:
At Archway Programs, we believe in creating opportunities that not only serve our clients but also provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that make a real difference in their lives. Across all our programs, we strive to empower individuals by offering them the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and engage with the community in ways that are both impactful and fulfilling.
One great example of this mission in action is Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts. Our flower shop is much more than just a business; it’s a learning and growth platform for both our students and clients. The shop provides a creative space where they can practice important life skills, from customer service and teamwork to floral design and inventory management.

Why It Matters
The work done at Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts not only helps clients and students develop these valuable skills, but it also gives them a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Whether they’re creating stunning floral arrangements for a special event or helping customers choose the perfect gift, they are actively contributing to something bigger—helping brighten someone’s day, one bouquet at a time.
Making a Lasting Impact
The experience gained at Blue Violet doesn’t just end when the workday is over. These skills translate into future job opportunities, improved social interactions, and greater self-confidence. Our clients and students take pride in their work, knowing that they’re making a difference, both for themselves and for the community.
Expanding this Impact Across Archway
While Blue Violet Flowers and Gifts is a fantastic example, the same spirit of empowerment is present across all of Archway’s programs. From our educational initiatives to our therapeutic services, we are always looking for ways to give back to the community while helping our clients grow.
Remember, if you’re ever unsure, it’s better to ask than to risk posting without consent or proper approval. For further questions about social media posting, reach out to Archway’s Communications Manager.
