When leaving Archway, it’s important to follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the security of company data and resources:
1. Notify Your Supervisor
Inform your supervisor about your departure and provide details on the location of any important files or documentation you’ve worked on. This ensures a seamless handover of responsibilities.
2. Return IT Equipment
All IT equipment must be returned before your departure, including:
•Tablets, phones, and laptops
•Key fobs and access cards
•Computer peripherals (mice, keyboards, monitors, etc.)
•Chargers, cables, and docking stations
•Any other IT resources provided by Archway
3. Secure Data Before Returning Devices
The IT team will wipe all devices as part of the decommissioning process. Any personal files stored on company devices will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Ensure you back up and save any personal or work-related files you may need before returning the equipment.
4. Deactivate Accounts
Your supervisor will work with IT to deactivate your accounts, including email, VPN, and other system access. If you’re responsible for shared accounts or passwords, securely pass this information on to the appropriate person.
5. Ask Questions
If you’re unsure about any of these steps or need help with the process, contact IT or your supervisor for guidance.
Following these steps ensures a smooth departure and helps Archway maintain data security. Thank you for your cooperation!
